Terms of Service

Last updated: May 8, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LaunchPad Chrome extension and the website at mylaunchpad.me (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Samson Stephens as a sole proprietorship ("we", "us"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using LaunchPad, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

LaunchPad is a Chrome browser extension that replaces the default new tab page with a customizable shortcut dashboard. The Service has two tiers:

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record. By purchasing, you also agree to Dodo Payments' terms and privacy policy. Available plans:

Recurring subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal link in your purchase receipt.

A 7-day free trial of Pro is available without a credit card. At the end of the trial, the account automatically reverts to the Free tier unless you choose to subscribe. There are no surprise charges.

4. Refunds

Refund requests are handled per Dodo Payments' refund policy. To request a refund, contact support@mylaunchpad.me with the email address used at checkout and a brief reason. We will work with you in good faith.

5. License and Acceptable Use

A Pro purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable license to use Pro features. License keys may be activated on up to 3 devices simultaneously, enforced by Dodo Payments. You agree not to:

The Free tier remains available to anyone, with no license required.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may terminate or suspend access for users who violate these Terms, abuse the licensing system, or engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior. Termination of a Pro license does not entitle you to a refund except as required by applicable law or Dodo Payments' refund policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all browsers or operating systems.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
